Traffic & Parking: Safe Streets for Everyone

To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all residents and visitors, the Summer Village of Whispering Hills has established guidelines for vehicle and pedestrian traffic, as outlined in Bylaw 10-84.​

Speed Limits

Maximum Speed: The speed limit within the village is 30 km/h unless otherwise posted.​
Caution: Be especially vigilant near parks, walking trails, and residential areas where children may be present.​

Parking Guidelines

Designated Areas: Park only in designated areas and ensure your vehicle does not obstruct traffic or access to driveways.​
No Parking Zones: Observe all "No Parking" signs and avoid parking in restricted areas.​
Recreational Vehicles: Do not park RVs, trailers, or boats on public roads for extended periods.​

Pedestrian Safety

Right of Way: Pedestrians have the right of way at crosswalks and intersections.​
Sidewalks and Paths: Keep sidewalks and walking paths clear of obstructions to ensure safe passage for all.​

Violations of traffic and parking regulations may result in fines or other penalties. The Summer Village is committed to enforcing these rules to maintain a safe environment for everyone.

📞 Reporting Concerns

Residents are encouraged to report any traffic or parking concerns to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). Prompt reporting helps maintain the safety and orderliness of our community.
