Proper waste disposal is an important part of keeping Whispering Hills clean, safe, and environmentally responsible. The Summer Village is a member of the Athabasca Regional Waste Services Management Commission (ARWSMC), which oversees waste and recycling services for our region.
Whispering Hills Transfer Station
The closest transfer station for residents is the Whispering Hills Transfer Station, located just outside the Summer Village. This facility is your primary destination for:
- Household garbage
- Yard waste
- Select recyclables
- Large item disposal (as per ARWSMC guidelines)
Please follow signage and directions from station attendants to ensure materials are properly sorted and disposed of.
