Disc Golf: A Fun Way to Enjoy the Outdoors
Looking for a relaxing activity that’s great for all ages and skill levels? Give disc golf a try! The Summer Village of Whispering Hills is home to its own Disc Golf Course, offering a scenic and enjoyable way to spend time outside with friends, family, or neighbors.
How to Play
Not sure how it works? Don’t worry-disc golf is played just like regular golf, but with flying discs (like Frisbees) and baskets instead of balls and holes.
📝 Instructions are posted at the first hole, but here’s a quick overview:
- Start at the Tee Pad and throw your disc toward the basket.
- Your next throw is taken from where the disc lands-just like in golf.
- Keep throwing until your disc lands in the basket.
- Count your throws-that’s your score for the hole.
- Each hole is a Par 3, meaning it’s expected to take three throws to complete.
Course Etiquette
- Be respectful of others using the course.
Stay on the fairways and avoid damaging natural areas. - Pick up after yourself-let’s keep the course clean and welcoming.
- Children are welcome but should be supervised while playing.
- Whether you’re playing solo, with family, or as part of a neighborhood challenge, disc golf is a great
- way to stay active and enjoy the beauty of Whispering Hills. So grab a disc, head to the first tee, and let it fly!
